• USA500 represents the S&P 500, which includes 500 of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States across all major sectors. It features industry leaders such as Tesla, Apple, Google, Nvidia, Meta, and Goldman Sachs.

EVENTS:

• FRIDAY, JANUARY 9 AT 13:30 GMT: US NONFARM PAYROLLS (NFP) AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE (DECEMBER). A lower-than-expected NFP reading should be positive for USA500 because it will signal a deteriorating situation in the US labor market, pointing to more interest rate cuts by the FED in the near future. This data measures the change in the number of people employed during the previous month, excluding the farming industry. The results for last month came in at 64,000.
• TUESDAY, JANUARY 13 AT 13:30 GMT: US INFLATION (CPI) DATA (DECEMBER). US Inflation came in at 2.7% in November, below the previous 3%. This is its lowest reading since July 2025. Core Inflation also fell in November, coming in at 2.6% (vs. 3% expected and the previous 3%). It is its lowest reading since March 2021.

Q4 2025 EARNINGS SEASON (JANUARY 12 - FEBRUARY 28)

• Q4 EARNINGS SEASON: The earnings season begins on January 12, with major U.S. banks reporting first. Historically, this period has been supportive for equities: since 2022, the S&P 500 has risen by an average of 3.18% during earnings season, as investors respond to corporate results, guidance, and outlook revisions.
• BIG TECH COMPANIES ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE SPOTLIGHT AGAIN: 

Apple: $137.8 billion revenue (Q4), +11% annual increase, driven by iPhone 17 demand.

Amazon: $211.3 billion revenue (Q4), +12.5% annual increase on strong e-commerce sales.

Netflix: $11.96 billion revenue (Q4), +17% annual increase on higher holiday viewing.

Tesla: $25.48 billion revenue expected (Q4).

NVIDIA: $65.45 billion revenue (Q4), +66% annual increase on AI and data center demand.
